The time of Leaders, Experts : the relativity of time

We often feel time passing differently in our daily lives.

This feeling can be psychological, but time really is different for everyone. When we're young and want to grow up quickly, time seems to move very slowly. On the other hand, for busy people or those with little time left to live, time flies by.

Time also moves differently based on our abilities.

Experts using intense concentration may feel time almost stopping. This can happen in sports too. A great baseball player in top form might see the stitches on a fast ball, making it easier to hit a home run. In crucial moments, athletes experience time differently than regular people.

The same applies to study and work. People who excel in these areas experience time more slowly due to their intense focus. This gives them more time compared to others, increasing the gap between high and low performers.

For great leaders, time also moves slowly when making important decisions.

This allows them to consider more factors and make better choices. It's like becoming a superhero for a moment, using all their experience and skills.

In one example, a company had to decide how to handle a manager who was harassing team members. Although he was the top salesperson, the CEO quickly decided to fire him. The CEO's decision seemed fast, but in his mind, time moved slowly as he carefully considered all aspects of the situation.

This slow-motion thinking is a gift for skilled leaders. Great Experts.

It lets them use all their experience to make the best decisions. We should remember that everyone experiences time differently and respect these differences.
